Composer Ludovic Bource, in his acceptance speech for “The Artist,” which won Best Score. Such a lovely sentiment. (via shortformblog)
This was the one part of the Oscars I caught and it was so completely beautiful. I always feel like composers get shafted during award season since sound tracks, especially OSTs, are largely underrated and not given the credit they deserve for giving a movie its backdrop and sometimes, its soul.
The Artist has such a lovely sound track and his sentiments were just as lovely- using music as his medium for love.
